A rail transfer requires the train operator, train number, scheduled arrival, passenger contact, luggage needs, and a confirmed meeting instruction. Large stations have several entrances and road levels; “meet outside” is rarely precise enough for a polished pickup.
Train status can change, but station access and passenger walking time still affect the meeting. The traveler should remain reachable after arrival and report a material itinerary change. For departures, plan around the recommended boarding time and the time needed to reach the correct concourse.
An SUV or larger vehicle may be appropriate when several passengers are traveling with full-size luggage. Capacity should be decided at reservation time rather than after the train arrives.
