A chauffeur provides transportation; the service does not replace parental supervision, school rules or the venue’s student-release process.

For a group pickup, confirm that every home permits curbside collection and identify a safe, well-lit meeting point. If students are gathering at one residence, the host family should confirm permission, passenger readiness and any parking limitations. Share the event’s current arrival and departure instructions, including whether the venue uses a designated student entrance. Do not assume that a prom schedule, after-party location or school curfew is known to the transportation provider.

Plan the End of the Evening Before It Starts

Set a return plan that accounts for staggered departures, a changed event end time and the possibility that students will not leave together. The parent or authorized adult should be reachable and able to confirm that each passenger has been collected. If several homes are on the return route, provide each complete address and the adult receiving the student. An unplanned stop or alternate destination requires approval from the designated adult and must be confirmed as operationally feasible.

Choose the vehicle from the real passenger count and any garment bags or personal items. A larger vehicle does not remove the need for an accurate manifest or adult oversight. Give the service date, time zone, pickup order, event entrance, required arrival, return window, parent mobiles, billing contact and change authority. A student’s address, mobile and handoff instructions should be shared only with the people who need them to operate the confirmed trip. Confirm whether the itinerary includes photographs, a dinner reservation, the school dance and one or more post-event drop-offs. Venue and school rules control where passengers may be picked up or released. For multiple homes, provide an ordered list and adult contacts at each address rather than leaving the route to be decided after the event. Parents should discuss seat belts, child restraints where applicable and conduct expectations with the students before travel.

The student may request a change, but the service should follow the designated adult’s instructions and any applicable parent or school requirements.
